Details: Classification:  Purchasing Manager /Director/VP Compensation:  DOE Fast paced high tech company seeking Cost Accounting Manager to establish standard costing structure and cost reporting for multiple entities, across multiple countries. Specifically, the Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for:Designing and coordinating all cost accounting procedures;Preparing and analyzing inventory valuations, cost of sales, and variances as required for both internal review and reporting purposes as well as for monthly financial close;Investigating significant trends/variances for cost reduction regarding materials, labor, overhead, and other types of costs related to manufacturing products;Leading and coordinating periodic process for setting standard costs; coordinating, auditing and managing physical inventory or cycle counts;Preparing material, labor and shipping analysis;Seeking and identifying proactive changes with commercial implications and ensure tracking of and reporting on changes;Establishing Excess & Obsolete inventory review process including the analysis of E&O reserve;Managing inventory observations and cycle count programs with warehouse managers, suppliers, and internal and external auditors;Driving improvement and maintenance of internal control, financial systems and annual audit;Designing efficient processes for month end close schedule and prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations;Working directly with Operations to understand supply chain process and inventory control;Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
