Details: DISTRIBUTION PLANT                      MATERIAL HANDLERS / FORKLIFT OPERATORS                                           WILLING TO TRAIN                                          $ -600.00 / WEEK        Call (601) 206-5552 to schedule SAME DAY APPOINTMENT!!! JOB SUMMARY:Will safely and efficiently be scanning materials, counting freight and moving materials from receiving area to the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with all warehouse policies, local work and safety rules and federal, state and local regulations that govern the industry. Follow company procedures for properly and safely loading and unloading freight. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload freight. Maintain a safe work environment by cleaning and removing debris from work area; keep aisles clear and observe forklift safety regulations. Select and use proper tools as necessary to load and unload freight. Prepare, inspect and clean trailer(s) before loading freight. Count and scan all freight in loading and unloading. Attend pre-shift and safety meetings.  SPECIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Experience in warehouse or operating a forklift is preferred.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand, sit or walk while maintaining balance for extensive periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist and reach; bend, crouch, squat, kneel and stoop for extensive periods of time.
