This person will primarily be responsible for physically moving product from receiving to Central Locations and performing daily cycle counts.This is a 1st shift 90 day temp to hire starting at $ 11.50 hourly with a pay increase to $ 13.00 after full time hire status.SummaryReceives, stores, and distributes material within the plant by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition.Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as primary location, size, ortype of material practicing the FIFO method.Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallet, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.Performs daily cycle counts and prepares discrepancy form on incorrect inventory quantities.Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage ofor damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.Marks identifying information on material.Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.Maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued in the system.Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
