Details: Loss Prevention Officer Performs Loss Prevention responsibilities for the store in accordance with approved store and Company rules and procedures. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Participates in shrinkage prevention and control programs directed at maintaining shopper and associate honesty. Observes shoppers; detains and interviews persons apprehended for shoplifting and fraud in accordance with local laws and Company policy. Observes associates' activities and reports infractions of Company policy or procedures Creates and maintains records of apprehensions, interviews, witnesses, evidence, and disposition of recovered merchandise. Participates in court hearings as required. Provides surveillance of contractors and others performing store related services. Maintains liaison with local police Maintains safe business environment Assists in internal investigations as required Performs other tasks assigned ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: REPORTS TO: Senior Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager
