Details: Planner/Materials/Inventory Specialist Our client is a leading global manufacturer and remanufacturer of aftermarket electrical components, original equipment electrical components, and aftermarket powertrain/drivetrain componentsfor automobiles, light trucks, heavy duty trucks and other heavy duty vehicles. The successful candidate will support all product control and logistics functions to meet customer demand for inventory expectations. The main objectives for this role: * Review Customer orders daily and coordinate with the schedulers for actions. *Maintain and distribute daily departmental measurements * Responsible for all MRO purchase requirements and vendor management *Review and approval of Broker invoices for accuracy *Support record retention requirements * Inform sales with any supply issues due to special causes. * Inform sales of any unusual demand patterns. * Organize and track all update and special orders. Hold review meetings as appropriate. Keep sales informed of status and issues. * Must have good organizational, communcation and interpersonal skills *Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) *Knowledge of MRP systems Requires Associates or four year degree in Business or Purchasing and/or 3-5 yrs related experience and/or training.
