Details: Senior Manager Forecasting and Inventory Operations - Finance(Consumer Goods)About our clientA Global Consumer Goods client in Mid-town ManhattanJob description?Partner with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Finance and PR teams to create plans and forecasts for annual, monthly and daily demand sales atthe SKU level.?Advise Planning, Merchandising, Education, Sales and Marketing partners of demand sales opportunity and risk.?Maintain key business events calendar including highlights on sales events, advertising and editorial mentions.?Serve as the key Planning and Merchandising liaison to the Fulfillment team as it relates to all inventory transactions.?Prepare and present findings and sales results on a seasonal basis to internal team.?Proactively assist in management of inventory by identifying excess inventory situations.?Provide coaching and direction to direct report.?Analyze competitive data and POS sales data (NPD Rankings, product mix, retail pricing, top selling promotions) to utilize as a tool in unit and gross sales forecasting.?Work with NPD and Marketing groups to determine time-lines for the collection of promotWhat's on offerCompetitive Salary and Benefits!
