Details: Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations. Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida and Alabama. This candidate will report to the Deputy ILSM, and will be responsible for logistics projects with significant scope and complexity. Technical experience and knowledge of VH-3D and VH-60N model aircraft is desirable. The candidate for this position must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to work independently with minimum oversight. Main responsibilities will include the management of logistics proposal activities including the flow down of proposal requirements; and the planning, execution, and delivery of high quality logistics elements under contract. Development and management of schedules, quality, and budgets for all logistics activities will be required. The candidate will also interact with internal and external customers on a regular basis, including the development and presentation of logistics material at formal meetings.
